Physical Therapy

The goal of physical therapy is to reduce your level of pain, increase function and mobility, and build up your tolerance and resistance to further injury. At North Florida Medical Center, we use the latest physical therapy techniques and equipment to help our patients improve their overall mobility and/or quality of life.

Physical therapy may be done through the use of transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulator (TENS) units, Iontophoresis, ultrasound, heat/ice treatment, as well as more active procedures such as stretching, strengthening, and low impact aerobic conditioning.

Our physical therapist and physical therapist assistants personally customize the physical therapy treatment that is right for you. Our patients include accident victims and individuals with disabling conditions such as back pain, neck pain, shoulder and arm pain, hip and leg pain, arthritis, pre- and post- surgical rehabilitation and all orthopedic injuries. While every patient is different, almost all of our patients notice pain relief after their first treatment.

Let the physical therapy team at North Florida Medical Center help you get back to living a pain free life. Don’t wait, call us today at (904) 269-2437 to schedule your free consultation
